Я была маленькой, вернее, очень юной, и нуждалась просто в образованном собеседнике. Водилась с компанией гопников, ребят очень душевных, но все, что от них можно было дождаться — дружеского утешительного хлопка по плечу.
Я помню этот снег, я побрела к сестре, а у нее были поминки. Умер ее дядя, и съехались родственники. Среди них был мой будущий муж. Мы опознали друг друга по цитатам: «это водка?» — «Что вы, разве я могу предложить даме водки? это чистый спирт!»
Вокруг ничего не поняли, через три дня мне исполнилось 17 лет, он записал меня в записной книжке как «Юля 10 класс», а через полтора года мы поженились.
Потом было еще два случая: «я могу плакать крокодиловыми слезами о том, что в моей жизни никогда больше не случится любви», записала я однажды. Мой брак терпел крах, а мне так отчаянно хотелось любить. И я влюбилась: через 2 недели после этой записи.
Я помню свои слёзы тогда: они были крупные и прозрачные, скатывались у меня по пальцам и я удивлялась, что иного слова, кроме как «крокодиловые», к ним не подходит.
Спустя несколько лет я, придя домой с работы ночью и остановившись в глухом темном дворе, задрала голову к нашим окнам: меня ждала дома только маленькая дочка. Окна тихо светились, горел маленький свет, она уже спала.
