Сформулировала одно из определений токсичного общения: когда собеседник, разговаривая с тобой, скрывает довольно большой массив негатива по отношению к тебе, вслух не говорит, но и не заметить его тебе не даёт: интонацией ли, невербаликой ли. Ты можешь ответить на текст, но на контекст не можешь — он невысказан.
Уходишь, обнаружив себя как недостаточно хорошего, унося смутный или явный тяжелый стыд за то, что ты именно такой есть; подозрение, что все не так, как ты думал, и ты не таков, и люди не таковы, и надо бы спрятаться или как-то это разрешить.
В этих ситуациях сплетаются
- страх «моя картина мира разрушается»;
- недоумение «что происходит? Мне прямо ничего не говорят»;
- гнев «я не хочу видеть себя таким, каким ты мне показываешь»;
- стыд «а вдруг и вправду со мной что-то не так».
В моем опыте, и человеческом, и профессиональном, у клиентов это всегда решалось только максимальной дистанцией. Ни конфликтом, ни выяснением, ни прояснением.
Кстати, каждый из нас может нести эту токсичность: когда нам хочется, чтобы другой был бы другим. И мы ничего не делаем с собой, а только лишь высказываем или намекаем другому на эту претензию. Или живем с ней внутри.
Меня однажды очень отрезвил вопрос моего психолога «а вам-то что?»
Нелишне себе его регулярно задавать: а мне-то что? Какое мое дело, что другой — не такой, как бы мне хотелось?
И вопрос не риторический. Там бывает много полезных ответов. И прибрать расползшееся своё «а пусть он так не делает» бывает очень верным решением. Он имеет право делать хоть как, мы имеем права не иметь с эти «хоть как» дела.
Мы также имеем право на это «хоть как», и имеем право отойти подальше от тех, кому это не нравится.
